Rick, his wife Tammy and 3 of their 5 children live in McComb. Besides being the broker for Mossy Oak Properties, Forest Investments, Rick is a registered forester and a member of the REALTORS Land Institute, having achieved the coveted "Accredited Land Consultant" (ALC) designation and has earned Mossy Oak Properties' "Certified Land Specialist" designation. He wrote the RLI course "Timberland: Identifying and Evaluating Timberland as an Investment" and is currently the only instructor for the course which is a two day, 16 hour course and applies towards the Accredited Land Consultant Designation". Rick is one of the original inductees into Mossy Oak Properties' "Pinnacle Club" which recognizes the top producing agents in the Mossy Oak Properties network. He was named "2010 Land REALTOR of the Year" by the Mississippi chapter of the REALTOR'S Land Institute and served as Mississippi's RLI president for 2011. Rick graduated in 1979 with a degree in forestry from Louisiana Tech University and is experienced in timber and land procurement, forest management, logging, wildlife management and oil and gas leasing. He first got his real estate license in 1988 and started Forest Investments in 1998. Rick is licensed in Mississippi and Louisiana. He and his family worship at Johnston Chapel United Methodist Church where Rick serves as youth Sunday School teacher, Lay Leader and Lay Delegate to annual conference.
