Bio:
As a true sportsman, Jay has a love for hunting and fishing the Ark La Tex. He has surrounded himself with people who love the sport as much as he does. Having purchased and managed his own properties, he decided to help others do the same. He has served as chairman of Ducks Unlimited and NWTF, president of Shreveport Bossier Retriever Club, and promoted safety and good sportsmanship by serving as a Louisiana Hunter Safety Instructor. Jay and his wife, Karen have made the Sportsmans Paradise their home, where they have raised their sons, Kyle and Jake. Early career choices were management in his heavy construction business, trucking, real estate management, and wholesale pet food distribution. He has served his business community as board member to the Chamber of Commerce and currently serves on the board of directors of Citizens National Bank. Jay holds a real estate license in both Louisiana and Arkansas Being a good stewart of the land is his top priority. Banking, site preparation, wildlife management, and above all, working with people, have given Jay the background to fully understand the needs of his clients. He has worked with State and Federal Agencies on various land uses. This fellow outdoorsman knows that a warm, long lasting, friendship based on trust and confidence extend well beyond the “land deal.”
