Taylor: There’s a lot of money to be invested from New Orleans, Louisiana, to the Florida Panhandle. Our particular niche in the Mossy Oak Properties’ network is quite unique. For instance, if there’s a 300-acre tract of land for sale in a rural area, there are probably not many people in that county who can afford to buy such a big parcel of land. But we have doctors, lawyers and professionals in New Orleans looking for that size tract of land for hunting property. We also have oil executives from Chevron, ship builders from Ingalls and casino executives searching for rural lands in which to invest. We believe there are large numbers of professionals and corporations along the Upper Gulf Coast who want a realtor who can identify forest-recreation lands in which they can invest. Because we have access to the Mossy Oak Properties’ network, we quickly and easily can locate the size of land they’re interested in purchasing in the state and/or county where they want to buy that land. Many of the Mossy Oak Properties’ agents can find property to sell, but have a difficult time finding investors to buy that land.

Here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, we know there are investors looking for property who need an agent to help them find it. So, we’ll work with investors and Mossy Oak Properties’ realtors all over the nation and help our investors find the lands for the prices they want to pay in the area where they want to invest. We want to provide a one-stop shop for investors along the Gulf Coast to find the forest-recreation property they want. Although we hope to be able to sell land as well as help investors find property to buy, we believe we’ll evolve as more of a buyer’s agents than a seller’s agent. We have places in the State of Mississippi where we hunt, and we have people looking for land for us to sell. I also have family all over the state in the real-estate business with rural property to sell.

Question: Where’s your office located? Taylor: We’re at 4004 Adams Avenue in Gulfport, Mississippi, right next to the airport, which means we have easy access for our clients to get on planes to see land anywhere in the State of Mississippi or the country.

For more information about properties in the Gulfport/Biloxi area, call Russell Taylor at 228-669-5515, or email him at russell@mossyoakproperties.com.
