 “LIFE ADVENTURES” Joe Hallam (Joseph Hallam III) has been a U.S. coast guard 100-ton master of power and sail vessels and a professional guide for 37years. His thirst for adventure and travel have taken him to destinations such as Kenya, Egypt, Brazilian Amazon, Eastern Europe, Caribbean, Bahamas, Florida Keys, the Gulf Coast and eventually Alaska. Joe has also logged over 20,000 mile as a solo sailor aboard his 41-foot trimaran. joe also has an extensive background in home construction and renovation. He and his wife Shannon have financed most of their adventures thru the buying and selling of real estate. Since arriving in Alaska in 2016 Joe, Shannon and their daughters, Katie and Lillie have lived in Seward, Sterling and then finally chose Homer as their forever home. and is a boat Captain for a large charter fishing operation on the Kenai Peninsula in his spare time .

When asked why the Kenai peninsula? The answer was simple: the overall beauty of this place and the laid-back lifestyle of the people who live here is incomparable to any place we have ever been. We do not think we could top it.
