Richard Braud

Richard came to Mossy Oak Properties because of the conservative culture along with the belief that caring for the land is more important than developing it. Richard grew up with a shotgun in one hand and a fishing pole in the other. His Cajun upbringing and LSU Education gave him the skills he needed to peel crawfish and be a good salesman, which he did for 40 years prior to getting into the world of real estate. Richard and his wife, Diana, are very active in their church and have been on short term mission trips to Africa and New Orleans after Katrina. From working for IBM while going to college to owning his own environmental products company, Richard has always been focused on how best to help people. He believes that when somebody buys or sells their home or family farm, it is a highly emotional time and deserves the effort and attention to make it a joyful event.
