This area has not been a part of any recent agricultural production. Tall grass and trees have started to take it over, except for the areas that have trails mowed through it and other areas that have been strategically mowed for food plots! On the Southeastern corner there is a pasture with a nice pond. The focus of the farm has been on wildlife and not livestock or agricultural, and this pasture will show that as well. The grass is thick and there are small trees growing in it. It is still in a position to be reclaimed as a pasture or it can easily turn into a thick bedding area for deer. The pasture is currently littered with deer trails that are leading from Spring Creek to the surrounding crop fields.

Cover is not a problem on this tract of land. Thick grasses, midsize trees, overgrown pasture, and mature timber give the deer everything they need to bed on this tract throughout the year. Surrounding the property in nearly every direction are farm fields. These fields are commonly planted to corn, soy beans, and wheat. These big destination feeding locations in such a close proximity allow for the farm to carry a high capacity of deer. Couple that with a few strategic food plots and the abundance of native vegetation, and this tract of land has what it takes to grow true Kansas Giants.
