Panther Creek 80
Description
This 80 acres sits on the south facing slope of Pinnacle mountain, and just above panther creek. The access from Fayetteville takes you through Elkins, and will be on the south side of county road 6431. The optimal location to construct a dwelling would be off of the main road amongst the cedars (between the gate and the first tower stand) which would provide a flat ground to build on, and privacy from the county road. Beautiful Oaks fill the property with approximately four-five acres of cedars mixed into the northwest fence line. This property has a series of impressive benches that are perfect for a November rut cruising buck to traverse, and search for does on the property. There is a defined habitat transition from cedars to oaks running along a flat bench that acts as a natural funnel to animals coming off the neighboring property to the west. There are three Tower stands which are elevated, carpeted, and enclosed with great location that optimizes your hillside vista. North most tower stand has a an electric six-hundred pound feeder with solar panels to charge the battery. Two rocky draws with running water are present flowing from the center of the property to the southeast corner. There is also a natural spring running down the western border. All three of these currently provide a water source for the native fauna. Whitetail deer are present in good numbers and eastern turkeys are present in fair numbers. Along with the occasional traveling hog or bear. Small game is present in great numbers.
