Beth Carter
Beth is a Texas cattle rancher with deep roots in the South Texas brush country. Raised in Freer, TX in Duval County — home to the legendary Muy Grande Deer Contest, the oldest deer hunting contest in the world — she grew up learning firsthand the grit, resilience, and work ethic it takes to raise livestock in the unforgiving South Texas climate. Her family’s purebred Brahman cattle journey began in the 1970s when her father recognized the breed’s ability to thrive and produce despite harsh environmental conditions.
Beth has spent the last 22 years in Floresville, TX, actively involved in cattle breeding on land that has been in her family for 70 years, and continuing a legacy of ranching and land management that spans four generations. She holds several seats on cattle association boards and advocates for legislative support for the cattle industry, agriculture and property rights for landowners.
With a lifelong love for the outdoors, land stewardship, and rural living, she spent 10 years homeschooling her three children, teaching them not only to appreciate the blessing of land ownership, but also the responsibility that comes with caring for it. Her background in ranching gives her a unique understanding of land, wildlife, agriculture, and the value of Texas property beyond just the transaction itself.
Beth believes land is one of God’s greatest gifts, and she’s passionate about helping others find their own piece of Texas to love, enjoy, and pass down for generations.
