Casey Newton

Casey Newton is a Real Estate Qualifying Agent and Certified Land Specialist with Mossy Oak Properties – Southeast Land & Wildlife, specializing in timberland and recreational properties. With a career rooted in forestry and land management, Casey brings extensive knowledge and experience to every transaction.

Casey is a consulting forester and owner of ForestWild Consultants and is a Registered Forester in Alabama (#2144) and Mississippi (#2651). During his career, he has managed more than 600,000 acres of timberland across the Southeast and led multimillion-dollar timber sale and real estate programs. He holds a Master of Science in Forest Resources from Clemson University and a Bachelor of Science in Operations Management from Auburn University. Casey is also a U.S. Army Infantry veteran, having served as an Infantry Officer with combat tours in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Outside of work, Casey and his wife, Julie, have been married for 20 years and have two daughters. Their family also includes two Labrador Retrievers, Ella and Ranger. Casey's lifelong connection to the outdoors and his experience working with land, timber, and natural resources make him a natural fit for helping landowners make informed decisions about their property.
