Chad Heflin

Born and raised in rural Fauquier County, Virginia, Chad Heflin developed an early appreciation for the land, agriculture, and outdoor lifestyle the Commonwealth has to offer. Growing up on a small family farm in Remington and spending time on his stepfather's farm in Dinwiddle County paired with a strong Faith-based foundation, his adolescent environment has helped shape is connection to the land and ultimately influenced his career path. Today, Chad lives in Chesterfield, Virginia, with his wide and two daughters, providing a central location from which he can serve clients throughout much of the Commonwealth.

As a Land Specialist with Mossy Oak Properties Land and Farms Realty, Chad brings years of experience in environmental consulting and generations of agricultural roots which provide him a unique perspective to farm and land real estate. His professional background allows him to look beyond a property's boundaries and consider the resources, opportunities, and long-term value the land may offer. Whether that be through evaluating potential timber income, stream or wetland mitigation banking opportunities, agricultural uses or recreational potential, Chad can help clients look at property through multiple lenses. His goal is to help clients understand not only what a property is today, but also what it could become and how the land may work for them.
