Cliff Covington
Cliff Covington, a life-long resident of Southwest Mississippi, grew up on a beef cattle and forestry operation in Union Church, Mississippi. A 1988 graduate of Mississippi State University, Cliff holds both B.S. and M.S. degrees in Animal Science. Pursuing his passion for the outdoors and an unrelenting desire to help people, Cliff went to work for the Mississippi State University Extension Service. Having served the landowners of Southwest Mississippi for 30 years as Claiborne County Agent, Southwest Mississippi Livestock/Forage Specialist, and South Mississippi Wildlife Specialist; Cliff gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in land and resource management. After retirement, Cliff became the Louisiana Regional Director for the National Wild Turkey Federation. This position afforded him a vast network of contacts across the Miss-Lou area. In addition, Cliff is a freelance Outdoor Writer/Photographer with thousands of articles and photographs in print. Having founded the Catch-A-Dream Foundation, the first Quality Deer Management Association fundraiser, and multiple National Wild Turkey Federation Chapters, Cliff believes in the importance of serving his fellow man.
Cliff understands the intrinsic value of land and land ownership. Cliff specializes in hunting and farming land sales because it is what he knows best. Helping people realize their dream of land ownership is the most rewarding part of being a Mossy Oak Properties Land Specialist. Cliff follows the adage that real estate is all about coming up with real solutions to other people's problems.
