Jimmy Underwood

Being a North Carolina native, Jimmy was born and raised in the south-central part of the state and has spent countless hours in the great outdoors hunting and fishing in this beautiful area.  He has also called South Carolina home as well, living along the northeastern coastal region where he managed the whitetail deer and turkey habitat on a large property along the Waccamaw River.  Jimmy and his wife make their home in Stanly County, North Carolina now on a small farm where they spend time with their children and grandchildren enjoying the wildlife that they have on the property.

Jimmy has a very diverse background that began as an Industrial Engineer when he graduated from NC State University and progressed into facility management and then into sales and project management.  His real estate career began while living along the South Carolina Coast in 2006.  His real estate background includes 11 years of land specific experience and the highly regarded Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) designation from the Realtor’s Land Institute.  RLI’s Accredited Land Consultants are the most sought after land sales professionals in the country due to their consistently high sales performance and outstanding knowledge of the land industry.  When working with Jimmy, you’re not just getting a realtor, you’re getting a proven expert in YOUR land real estate market who truly understands how to take care of his clients whether they are sellers looking to get the true market value for their property or if they are buyers looking to find their favorite place at the best value for their investment.

2025 proved to be a banner production year for Jimmy that brought several awards. He was the top producing agent for Mossy Oak Properties Land and Farms Realty, which has offices in NC, SC and VA. He was also the top producer in the state of SC.  On a national level, he achieved the coveted Big Fish Award, given to the top 5 largest transactions for the entire Mossy Oak Properties nationwide network.  In the 4th quarter of 2025, his production earned him a spot in Mossy Oak Properties’ Pinnacle Club, which recognizes the top ten producers for the entire network.  Also on a national level, Jimmy was recognized as an APEX Producers Club award winner from the REALTORS Land Institute for the third time.
