Les Penn

A lifelong resident of Canton, Mississippi, Les has grown up in the outdoors around agriculture his entire life.  Growing up on his dad’s row crop operation & cattle farm in central Mississippi, Les understands the connection that one has with the land.  Whether it be for recreational, agricultural, hunting, or residential use, Les feels he has the knowledge to help find just what you need. Becoming a real estate agent in Mississippi was an easy decision for him—Les believes it goes hand in hand with what he currently executes daily, which is marketing both corn & cotton for Grain Marketing Services, LLC in Flora, MS.  For nearly 10 years now, Les has been helping farmers in Mississippi & Louisiana get the best price for their crop. Combining Mossy Oak’s national brand and marketing reach, with Les’ local knowledge is a winning combination for his clients.

Les is active in his community, currently serving his third term as an Alderman for the City of Canton since being elected in 2013.  In 2015, Les was selected to serve as president of the Mississippi Feed & Grain Association.  From 2011-2014 , he was Director of Run for Sterl, a non-profit 5k-10k benefitting The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis in memory of his cousin Sterling Penn.  Currently, Les is the President of the Lester Penn Charity Invitational Golf Tournament which is held annually in West Point, MS & raises funds to promote youth golf in central Mississippi.

Les and his wife, Murray Ann, have two beautiful children Ann Bryan & Jack.  They are members of First United Methodist Church of Canton.  As a family, they enjoy anything and everything outdoors & vacationing at the beach.
