Raised in Martinsville, Virginia, Matt’s love for the outdoors was instilled at an early age by his father and older brother. He began hunting at just five years old, a passion that eventually grew into a career as a waterfowl and turkey guide in eastern North Carolina. From chasing whitetails to guiding clients in the field, Matt’s lifelong connection to the outdoors gives him a unique perspective when helping others buy and sell land.

A natural competitor, Matt also grew up playing sports and went on to play collegiate baseball at Hampden-Sydney College (go Tigers). That experience ingrained the values of hard work, dedication, and persistence – traits he now brings to his real estate career.
