Sam grew up in central North Carolina, where his father instilled in him a lifelong respect for the outdoors, stewardship, and conservation. Those early lessons forged a deep appreciation for the land and a strong commitment to preserving it for future generations.

A former college football player, Sam earned a scholarship to Wingate University, where he developed the discipline, teamwork, and perseverance that still drive him today. He later earned his MBA from the College of Charleston, gaining advanced business and financial expertise. Prior to real estate, Sam worked in mortgage origination, mastering the lending process and helping clients navigate complex financial transactions with confidence.

As a certified Deer Steward (Levels 1 and 2), Sam brings a specialized conservation-focused approach to land brokerage. He helps clients look beyond acreage and price tags to see a property’s true potential—for wildlife habitat, responsible land management, and long-term legacy.
