Steven Barnes

Originally from Florida, Steven has lived in Camden County, Ga since 2005 with his wife, Pamela and two children, Lex and Lillie.  Upon completion of 5 1/2 years of active duty in the United States Marine Corps, he attended Florida State University earning a Bachelor of Science degree with dual majors in Real Estate and Finance, and continued there earning his Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Upon graduation in 2002, Steven went to work in private practice as a commercial real estate appraiser specializing in eminent domain and land and development.  He obtained his Florida Real Estate Salesperson's license in 2002, and earned his State-Certified General Commercial Appraiser's license in 2005.  His career has included extensive work experience in both fields while also continuing to work in real estate for financial institutions as a review appraiser, construction loan manager, commercial real estate underwriter, foreclosure/ special assets manager, and environmental risk manager for regional banks in 2016, in the Southeast. Beginning in 2016, Steven began working with Mossy Oak Properties Coastal Land and Real Estate maintaining his real estate license in both Georgia and Florida.
