Steven Overton

For Steven Overton, the outdoors is more than a hobby--it is a way of life.  Born and raised in West Tennesse, he has spent decades chasing ducks in the winter, pursuing whitetails in the fall, listening for spring turkeys, and fishing the lakes and rivers of the Mid-South.  That lifelong connection to the land shapes the way he works with clients as a Certified Land Specialist with Mossy Oak Properties Mid-South Land & Home.

Steven helps buyers and sellers throughout West Tennessee with hunting and recreational properties, family farms, timber tracts, rural homes, and land investments.  He understands that a property is more than its acreage and asking price.  It may be a place to build a home, a working farm, a favorite duck hole, or land a family hopes to pass down for generations.  He takes time to learn what matters to each client, explain their options clearly, and guide them through every step of a purchase or sale.  His knowledge of the region and firsthand experience outdoors help him recognize the features that make each tract useful, enjoyable, and valuable.

Service has been a constant throughout Steven's career.  He services in the United States Marine Corps from 2004 to 2008, including assignments in Okinawa, Japan, and a combat deployment to Fallujah, Iraq.  He later spent more than fourteen years in law enforcement as a Narcotics Investigator, SWAT Team Member, and Chief Pilot in a law enforcement aviation unit.  Today, he also serves as an EMS helicopter pilot with Air Evac Lifeteam.  Those experiences strengthened his commitment to integrity, preparation, steady communication, and following through when people depend on him.
