Ted Benbow

Ted Benbow brings decades of hands-on experience and land expertise to Mossy Oak Properties. A lifelong resident of North Carolina, Ted resides in Taylorsville on Lake Hickory with his wife and has spent more than 35 years working in rural land development and land-related industries across the state.

Ted is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a degree in Civil Engineering and is a retired land surveyor with more than 34 years of experience owning and operating a successful surveying business. Since 1997, he has also been actively buying and selling real estate, with experience ranging from income-producing rental properties to large acreage tracts for subdivisions, farms, and recreational hunting land. His extensive background gives clients valuable insight into land values, development potential, and rural property opportunities throughout North Carolina.

In addition to his professional career, Ted proudly served his community for many years as a volunteer firefighter, EMT, and first responder before retiring from public service.

Ted’s favorite escape is spending time on the water — whether it’s bass fishing on a quiet farm pond or chasing flounder and redfish in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. He also enjoys turkey and dove hunting and anything that gets him outdoors.
