Arkansas River WRP 93
Description
This extremely diverse WRP hunting tract located along the Arkansas River is awaiting a new owner. Sitting between Frog Bayou WMA and the Arkansas River, this property could not be situated any better for traveling ducks. The landscape consists of a variety of younger bottomland timber species and aquatic species that are great for deer and waterfowl. This property has a lot more to offer for wildlife than one would expect. Loaded with transition areas and small meadows, this habitat is ideal. The property was absolutely torn up with big buck sign in mid October of 2022. Fully enrolled in WRP, this property would allow someone to create the optimal duck hole on one half, while controlling the other for quality deer management. With frog bayou to the west and the Arkansas River to the south, there is no better place for deer and ducks to seek refuge from pressure. Surrounded by hundreds if not thousands of acres of soy beans, there is no question why these deer get so big.
