Here's a great little piece of ground nestled in Central New Mexico's Rio Grande Valley. Located approximately 60 minutes south of Albuquerque, NM within the farming village of La Joya. This 7.4 acres can suit many purposes or visions of country life. Over the years the farm has been planted in Alfalfa and grass. Typically this area of New Mexico generates 4 cuttings a year dependent on water availablility. Irrigation water is provided by the La Joya Acequia of Socorro County. The Association is private to land owners in the village with annual membership fees of $50 per acre per year. The water rights are held by the Association and classified as "Ancient" with beneficial use back in time prior to the 1800's.
On site there is a domestic well (run by generator) in place. Depth is 300' and permitted for domestic and livestock use only. Additional Improvements include a storage shed, metal covered hay storage and equipment areas. Power is close by and access easements are in place for irrigation.
