The Sanctuary
Description
"THE SANCTUARY"
Tucked deep in the National Forest of Northern Johnson County, your off grid dream awaits. One of the most secluded places you will find, totaling 100 acres. Neighbors??? Nope. Fully enclosed by a solid metal structure, a 2600 sq ft living space and 1500 sq ft shop are protected from the elements (including a high bear population). With a water well, solar panels, 1000 gallon propane tank and backup generator for everything, you can simply show up and enjoy. "Well built" does not do this one justice. Some serious thought and detail went into the construction of this place, finished in 2018. Very spacious living and kitchen area, 2 bedrooms, large bonus area, 2 full baths, 1 half bath and laundry. With the high wildlife population and thousands of acres of national forest surrounding you, this sets up as an ideal hunting camp. You could easily sleep a dozen people here. The terrain is also managable, with a good trail system to access most of the property. Speaking of trails, the Ozark Highlands Trail runs just next to the property for even more exploring. An unfinished tree house sits atop a high point in a beautiful setting of mature trees. It would not take much to finish and have another cool hangout. The historic Oark store is only a 15 min drive if you need some good food or socializing. About an hour and a half from Fayetteville and 45 min from Clarksville. I can try my best to characterize this place, but "The Sanctuary" is the best description.
