In just a few short years, Chris Dowdy has established a national reputation as a leader in recreational, farm, and residential real estate. His career took off in 2019, his first full year as a licensed agent, when he was named Agent of the Year at the Mossy Oak Properties office in Clarksville, Tennessee. That same year, his brokerage, Mossy Oak Properties Tennessee Land and Farm, was recognized as the Mossy Oak Properties National Office of the Year.
Chris continued his success in 2020, once again earning the title of Agent of the Year for the Clarksville office. He closed 34 transactions across 27 counties—setting a record for the highest number of closed transactions in a calendar year by a single agent in Mossy Oak Properties' Tennessee history. His achievements extended beyond the company, as Homesnap recognized him among the top 10% of real estate agents nationwide in 2019 and the top 5% in 2020. Additionally, he received a Nashville Soar Award and was named a top agent in the Nashville market.
The momentum continued in 2021 when the Mossy Oak Properties Tennessee Land and Farm office was once again nominated for National Office of the Year. In the second quarter of 2022, Chris received the prestigious Mossy Oak Properties Pinnacle Award, ranking among the top 10 agents nationwide in sales. That same year, he was once again named Agent of the Year for the Clarksville office—his fourth consecutive win—while also closing the most transactions for the fourth year in a row.
Chris earned his fifth Agent of the Year award for the Clarksville office in 2024 and continued to lead in closed transactions. At the National Mossy Oak Properties Land Summit, he and his wife, Erica, received the inaugural Resa Vickers Community Service Award and accepted the "First Full of Dirt Award" for their conservation efforts on Mossy Oak's National Day of Conservation. Later that year, at the Mossy Oak Properties National Awards Banquet, Chris was honored with the inaugural Pathfinder Award.
A native of Henry County in Northwest Tennessee, Chris is a direct descendant and Great Grandson of the legendary David Crockett.
