Fred Zepponi III is the owner and broker of Mossy Oak Properties Bottomland Real Estate. He is a licensed real estate broker in Mississippi, Alabama, and Arkansas and a Mississippi Certified General Real Estate Appraiser. His brokerage work centers on rural land: farmland, timberland, hunting and recreational tracts, country estates, and family holdings across the Southeast.

Fred grew up on a farm in the Mississippi Delta and studied Agricultural Economics at Mississippi State University. He has more than 20 years of experience and holds the MAI and SRA designations from the Appraisal Institute.

As a broker, he works mostly with larger acreage, generational farms, hunting and recreational properties, and other land that takes specialized knowledge to price and market. He also represents buyers and sellers of smaller tracts.

His Mississippi appraisal practice focuses on estate, partition, and litigation assignments, along with other complex rural and residential valuations. Clients include attorneys, families, fiduciaries, and landowners dealing with estate settlements, ownership disputes, and legal proceedings where the value conclusion has to hold up.

Because he both sells land and appraises it, Fred brings valuation discipline to pricing, marketing, and negotiation, and his appraisal work reflects how the land market actually trades.
