Jim Greene

With a 200-year heritage of family farming in North Alabama, Jim Greene knows land. From working row crops to managing timber and improving wildlife habitat, he’s spent a lifetime building practical knowledge of rural land.

An avid hunter, Jim has helped manage his family’s mixed use farming operation, optimized toward crop, timber, and recreational value.

His early job experience at Union Camp/International Paper helped him bolster his interest for a career in forest and agricultural products, ultimately leading him to a BS in Industrial Engineering and a Master’s in Business Administration.

Jim spent 10 years managing the largest cotton ginning and warehousing operation in North Alabama. His extensive knowledge of farming operations and industrial processes has been helpful in reaching his primary goal of maximizing the earning potential of his farmers, landowners, and other customers through efficient operations and contract management.

Jim understands that rural property isn’t just real estate – it’s a legacy, an investment, and a way of life.

Today, Jim shares his passion for the land and the outdoor lifestyle with others as a Certified Land Specialist with the Mossy Oak Properties Southeast Land & Wildlife team. Through his strong relationships with farmers, landowners, and outdoor enthusiasts, he works with his clients to market their rural properties and to purchase the properties of their dreams.
