During the 2024 hunting seasons, hunters in Metcalfe County harvested 1,594 deer and 340 turkeys. The property is near Adair County line and less than 1 mile from Cumberland County, both of these counties are in the current Zone 2 for the statewide bear season.

A county road runs in front of the property, however, at this time there are no devleoped trails or roads within the property and there are no utilites on the site. 

The property is only 15 minutes from Edmonton, 1:45 hours from Louisville and 2 hours from Nashville.    

 

Directions: To reach the property from Edmonton, KY take KY-163 south. In 2.3 miles, turn left (east) onto Cedar Flat-Curtis Road. Continue 2.4 miles. Turn right onto Glen Shaw Road. Continue for 3.1 miles and turn left (east) on Charter Creek-Subtle Road. After you turn on Charter Creek-Subtle Road, continue for 0.6 miles. After you cross a small creek, continue about  0.1 miles, the property will be on the right where You will see a large beech tree with a ribbon and yellow paint denoting the property corner.
