96+ acres in GMU 11, just 15 miles west of Maybell, CO on HWY 40. borders 979,000 acres of BLM this property is a great base camp for unit 11 hunting, plus it offers easy access right off HWY 40. This property is at 6180 feet in elevation. This property offers elk, antelope, and mule deer hunting. GMU 11 is known to be good hunting.  Buck to Doe Ratio 33:100. Hunter’s success for unit 11 has continued to be much better than many units in the state. The terrain offers few challenges when navigating on foot. This coupled with the large elk populations, and high success rates makes the unit a prime destination for elk hunters. Tags have a good draw rate for mule deer, and elk tags are OTC for second and third rifle seasons for PL.
