There is also a high bank or "natural levee" adjacent to the river that would make a suitable location to build a shelter or pavillian to sit and watch the river go by throughout the year. Some years ago, the owners did have a shelter and a boat dock on the river.

Directions:
From Hartford, take KY 69 west to Centerville. Just as you arrive in Centerville, you will turn left onto KY 85, drive 1.4 miles to KY 1903 and turn right. Drive 2.3 miles to Ceralvo Lane and turn right. From this junction drive 0.9 miles to the church which is on the right. Just before you reach the church, a gravel road turns to the right. This is McGuyer Lane but there are no road signs. McGuyer Lane ends at a gate which is the approximate property line which is marked with green survey ribbon.
