Springfield Tract
Description
The Springfield property is a recreational timber tract with approximately 84 acres located in Orangeburg County, SC. The upper one third of the tract is comprised of a mature stand of planted pine. The remaining 60 acres is a natural bottom land hardwood stand. The tract borders Goodland Creek, a tributary of the south fork of the Edisto River, and has a recent Plat with a dedicated easement. Two small power lines cross the property providing natural openings ideal for deer hunting. The hardwood river corridor provides favorable travel lanes for deer and turkey.
The property lies just north of Springfield, SC., and the town of Orangeburg is a pleasant half hour ride. Columbia, Lexington, and Augusta are all less than 50 miles and 1 hour away. Timber data is available on request.
