Chris Dowdy has quickly established himself as a respected leader in recreational, farm, and residential real estate, earning both state and national recognition for his performance, professionalism, and consistency. His real estate career launched with remarkable momentum in 2019—his first full year as a licensed agent—when he was named Agent of the Year at the Mossy Oak Properties office in Clarksville, Tennessee. That same year, his brokerage, Mossy Oak Properties Tennessee Land and Farm, was honored as the Mossy Oak Properties National Office of the Year, underscoring the strength of the team he represents.

In 2020, Chris once again earned Agent of the Year honors for the Clarksville office while closing 34 transactions across 27 counties. This achievement set a record for the highest number of closed transactions in a calendar year by a single agent in Mossy Oak Properties’ Tennessee history. His performance also received national recognition from Homesnap, which ranked him among the top 10% of real estate agents nationwide in 2019 and the top 5% in 2020. That same year, he received a Nashville Soar Award and was recognized as a top-performing agent in the Nashville market.

The momentum continued in 2021 as Mossy Oak Properties Tennessee Land and Farm was again nominated for National Office of the Year. In the second quarter of 2022, Chris was awarded the prestigious Mossy Oak Properties Pinnacle Award, placing him among the top 10 agents nationwide in sales. He was also named Agent of the Year for the Clarksville office for the fourth consecutive year and led the office in closed transactions for the fourth straight year—demonstrating both sustained excellence and consistency.

In 2024, Chris earned his fifth Agent of the Year award for the Clarksville office and continued to lead in closed transactions. At the National Mossy Oak Properties Land Summit, he and his wife, Erica, received the inaugural Resa Vickers Community Service Award. They also accepted Mossy Oak Properties’ third “Fist Full of Dirt Award” for their conservation efforts during Mossy Oak’s National Day of Conservation. Later that year, Chris was honored with the inaugural Pathfinder Award at the Mossy Oak Properties National Awards Banquet.

In 2025, he was once again named Agent of the Year and received the award for Most Closed Transactions, further reinforcing his reputation as a results-driven professional who consistently delivers for his clients.

A native of Henry County in Northwest Tennessee, Chris is a direct descendant and great-grandson of the legendary David Crockett. His lifelong passion for the outdoors shapes both his personal and professional life. He grew up fishing on Kentucky Lake and has hunted in more than 20 states. For 27 years, he has managed public relations and social media and has served as an occasional hunting guide at Whitetail Creek Outfitters in Cadiz, Kentucky. He is a member of Mossy Oak Brand Camo’s Pro Staff and recently completed an eight-year tenure as Chapter President of the Battleground Longbeards Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation. He has also served on the Tennessee State Board of Directors for the National Wild Turkey Federation.
