Frog Bayou Duck Marsh
Description
Here is a rare opportunity to own an incredible hunting property exactly 1 hour from Fayetteville, Arkansas. The property is comprised of 2 separate tracts approximately half a mile apart. The northern tract is +/- 92 acres with 4 separate duck cells. Each cell is a separate moist soil unit with multiple wetland species, and the levees are primarily clover. The south line of the north unit is crooked slough, which acts as a highway for deer traveling to and from Frog Bayou WMA. The west boundary of the north unit is Frog Bayou WMA, leaving this property as a necessary travel route during the rut. With soybean fields for miles, there's no question why these river bottom deer get so big.
The southern tract is +/- 93 acres running along the Arkansas River is a low lying tract, containing incredible diversity and excellent whitetail habitat. With plenty of wetland species throughout the property, don't forget about those late season mallards as the center of the property floods annually. This allows you to rest birds on one parcel while you hunt ducks on the other. Both tracts are enrolled in WRP and remain exceptional deer and duck hunting properties.
