Jones Luster

Jones was born and raised in the Mississippi Delta and now resides on historic Moon Lake near Clarksdale, MS, and Helena, Arkansas. He has a passion for Moon Lake and the surrounding Delta lands that serve as its backdrop.  

Jones graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2005. Hurricane Katrina hit shortly after Jones's graduation, leading him to move to the MS Gulf Coast to help with the relief effort. There he worked for Regional Enterprises in modular and mobile home sales. This experience of finding housing and financing for displaced victims of the hurricane greatly impacted him and has always drawn him back to the real estate business. 

Jones currently works for First National Bank of Clarksdale and has been in the banking business for 14 years with 12 of them being at FNB. He is a graduate of the Mississippi School of Banking at Ole Miss and the Graduate School of Banking at LSU. He is also licensed in insurance with his property and casualty and whole life licenses in place in Mississippi. 

Jones is very involved in Clarksdale and Moon Lake. He currently serves on the board of the Moon Lake Water Association. The Association oversees the water quality on the lake and maintains its access to homeowners on and around the lake. Jones has also been the Treasurer of the Moon Lake Improvement Club for over 5 years. The Moon Lake Improvement Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lake and promoting its growing tourism. He is also very active in Clarksdale United Methodist Church serving on the Finance Committee and helping with the Children's Ministries. 

Jones has lived on Moon Lake for over 10 years with his wife Anna Claire and their two sons, Bo and Sessum. He enjoys being on the lake with family and friends and sharing his love for Moon Lake with other people. He also spends a lot of time in the winter taking his sons duck and deer hunting on the family farm nearby. Jones has been involved in promoting Moon Lake since he and his family have lived there. He currently manages vacation rental properties on the lake for clients willing to share their properties with travelers. Moon Lake has proven to be a popular travel destination for individuals from all over the country whether coming for a blues festival, a duck hunt, or a summer getaway on the water. 

Jones's passion for Moon Lake and the land surrounding it led Jones to Mossy Oak Properties where he gained his real estate license in Mississippi. Jones also plans to obtain his license in Arkansas and is  currently a Certified Land Specialist with Mossy Oak Properties. His banking experience and continued role at First National Bank have given him insight into the process that goes into closing a deal. Jones is ready to take on that process for you and is committed to making your buying or selling experience smooth and consistent. Jones's knowledge of Moon Lake and its people also add to his expertise of the area and his capability to find your perfect getaway place whether looking to rent, own, or list your own property.
